The last four digits of your phone number will unlock the lock box located to the right of the door in the alcove. You are welcome to return the key each time to the lock box after unlocking and locking the door during your stay... in order to prevent unwanted complications. Please remember there is a hefty fee for lost keys if you prefer to have it with you.

To help us maintain great relationships with our wonderful neighbors and keep our historic home in beautiful shape, we kindly ask that you review and respect the following during your stay:

1. Local residents must contact us before booking.

2. Check-in: 4 PM and Check-out: 11 AM. A late checkout fee will be enforced: 1 hour: 1/2 a nightly rate & 2 hours: a nightly rate.

3. Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. The city maintains a 24/7 noise complaint hotline.

4. You must provide a valid phone number (not a Google voice number).

5. There is a $500 fee for a missing front door key, as it may jeopardize our next booking.

6. No smoking of any kind is permitted on the entire property. Violators will be fined $1,000 plus a commercial cleaning fee to be determined by the owner.

7. No vaping of any kind is permitted on the entire property. Violators will be fined $1,000 plus a commercial cleaning fee to be determined by the owner.

8. No illegal drugs of any kind are permitted on the entire property.  Violators will be prosecuted.

9. No more than 6 overnight guests are allowed at any time. This includes camping and camper vans etc.

10. No parties… zero tolerance. The authorities will be alerted about trespassing violations. If you plan to have 1 or 2 local family members or friends drop by during the day, please let us know in advance.

11. No pets of any kind are allowed on the entire property. 

12. Should the house become excessively dirty, an additional commercial cleaning fee will apply... to be determined by the owner.

13. Bookings are for under 30 days (contact owner for exceptions).

14. Please clean up after yourself, so our cleaning fees remain low.

15. Guests are liable for missing items and all damage. You break it, you buy it.

16. Third party bookings will be handled on a case by case basis.

17. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

18. Stay at your own risk.

19. Please park in the designated areas.

20. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

Please note: breaking these rules will result in the immediate cancellation of your stay without a refund, plus any applicable commercial cleaning fees. Thank you for treating our home like your own!

Before you check out, we kindly ask that all indoor bins be emptied. Please place trash bags in the bin on the patio in the backyard... as the cleaner may not arrive immediately after your departure. This helps keep the space fresh and free from unwanted odors or pests.

Please strip the beds. Bed sheets and pillow cases should be placed in the hampers located in each bedroom closet, prior to departure.

Used towels should be placed in the hamper located in the bathroom, prior to departure.

Ceiling Fans & Overhead Lights

Each room features a ceiling fan and light unit operated via a wall-mounted remote next to the light switch:

 Light Control: Press the button in the top-right corner of the remote.

 Fan Speed: Adjust air speed using the numbered buttons (1–6) across the top-middle section.

Living & Dining Room Floor Lamps

Floor lamps are operated by an in-line foot switch resting on the floor beneath each fixture. Simply tap the switch to turn on or off.

Roku TV Guest Mode

The Roku TV is formatted in Guest Mode to sign you out automatically at the end of your stay. When you turn on the TV, enter your checkout date—this ensures your streaming logins, search history, and personal credentials are automatically cleared upon departure for complete privacy.
